Things kick off on August 21, 2026, when Call of Duty: NEXT pulls back the curtain on Modern Warfare 4. Expect fresh gameplay, a proper Multiplayer rundown, and comments from Infinity Ward rather than a quick teaser trailer. The Early Access Beta starts right after the broadcast and runs until August 25 for pre-order players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. That gives keen players a few days to test builds, learn the maps, and get a head start with Modern Warfare 4 Boosting (https://www.u4gm.com/cod-mw4/boosting) before the wider beta crowd arrives.
Westbridge changes every round
Multiplayer's biggest curveball is Kill Block, a Gunfight-focused mode set inside the Westbridge training complex. It is not built around one fixed arena. Every map has two outer sections and a central module, and the rail system moves those pieces between matches. One round might favour a long lane; the next could turn into a messy close-range fight behind fresh cover. At launch, Kill Block supports 3v3 Gunfight and 10v10 Gunfight, with more than 500 possible layouts. Some modules can also trigger rain or snow, leaving frost and water on weapons. You will need to read the room fast, because your usual route may not exist next game.
Beta access table
Early Access Beta | August 21-25 | Pre-orders on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Open Beta | August 28-September 1 | All supported platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2. Switch 2 pre-orders open on August 26, bringing Call of Duty back to Nintendo hardware after several years away. For plenty of players, that timing will matter more than the reveal itself. Switch 2 owners can jump into the open test, see how the game feels in hand, and decide whether the full release is worth picking up.
Loadouts without the fuss
Infinity Ward is also trying to make weapon setup less of a chore. The new Gunny system is not an AI chatbot, despite the name and the rumours around it. It is a developer-made tool that suggests usable close-, mid-, or long-range builds from attachments you already own. That should save time between matches. Random bullet deviation has been removed as well, so shots should feel more consistent and easier to understand. Vault Edition buyers get early beta access, the Rival Coalition pack with Price, Valeria, Ghost, and Blix, plus mask options through emotes. There is also a Special Forces pack with UK, German, French, and South Korean Operators, regional voice packs, the Iconic Weapons Collection, Season 1 BlackCell, and a DMZ deployment bonus.
Aston Martin enters the warzone
Digital pre-orders come with the Moonlit Pearl Universal Weapon Camo and a Gilded Ruin Camo challenge. The first 100,000 players to finish it receive a numbered limited version. Then there is the Dreadnought Tactical SUV, Aston Martin's V12-powered armoured vehicle in Chiltern Green with an Oxford Tan interior and carbon-fibre details. It will appear in DMZ and Warzone after the October 23 launch. If you are planning to chase those rewards or prepare for the competitive rush, Modern Warfare 4 Boosting for sale (https://www.u4gm.com/cod-mw4/boosting) is one option to consider before taking the Dreadnought out under heavy fire.
